Welcome to my garden
I love proper cottage gardens, the kind with a bit of everything crammed in together, full of colour, butterflies, and bees. My gardening heroes are Margery Fish, the English gardener and writer, and Phoebe Vaughan, my nana.
Most of what I grow starts as a seed or a bulb, right here in this garden.
How I garden
It's wildlife-friendly: food, water, and shelter for birds, bees, butterflies, and other small creatures
No-dig, heavily mulched beds
All organic matter composted in rat-free bins
Homemade organic plant teas, used as a tonic
Rainwater harvesting (a work in progress)
Always trialling new plants and more sustainable ways of growing them

All my flowers are grown and sold seasonally, spring through to autumn (early September to late May).
