I love cottage gardens. Proper cottage gardens where there’s a bit of everything all crammed together. A garden full of colour and butterflies and bees.

My gardening heroes are Margery Fish (an English gardener and writer) and Phoebe Vaughan (my nana).

I grow most of my flowers from seeds or bulbs.

My garden is a wildlife friendly garden. I try and provide food, water and shelter for birds, bees, butterflies and other tiny animals.

I compost all of my organic matter in rat-free compost bins. I practice no-dig gardening and heavily mulch all garden beds with organic matter. I make my own organic teas which I spray on my plants as a tonic. I’m in the process of increasing my rain harvesting containers around the garden.

I’m always trialling new plants and sustainable planting methods.
